Impact of Christmas on payment dates

The Christmas holidays will have some impact on when the daily allowance will appear in your account.

You can see in the OmaYTK whether your application has been processed or is still pending. It takes two working days for the payment to be transferred to your account. This means that the payment will be sent by us the next working day after the processing is completed and the money will be in your account the following working day. A working day is not a bank day if it is a public holiday. There are a few bank holidays during the Christmas period.

  • Christmas Day (25 December) and Boxing Day (26 December) are not bank days. Therefore, daily allowances for applications processed between 21.–22.12. will be in your account after Christmas, on 27.–28.12.
  • New Year’s Day (1.1.) is a Monday, which delays payments by one day at the turn of the year.
  • Epiphany (6.1.) falls on a Saturday this time. This will therefore have no impact on the payment dates for daily allowances.
