You have made a smart decision by joining both the YTK Unemployment Fund and YTK Worklife. That is why you will receive two different membership fee invoices from YTK: one from the fund and one from YTK Worklife. We will send you both invoices at the beginning of the year.
Both YTK Fund and YTK Worklife invoices sent by mail or OmaPosti have a €5 paper invoice surcharge. Make sure now that you have switched both invoices to free e-invoicing so that you don’t pay unnecessarily!

When should you terminate your membership?
There are really only two situations in which it makes sense to terminate your YTK membership.
- When you retire, you will no longer need our services.
- If you start working as a full-time entrepreneur, you can retain your membership for a maximum of 18 months.
If you start studying, take parental leave, or perform military service, it is worth keeping your membership valid. This will allow you to retain your employment status and apply for earnings-related unemployment allowance if you unexpectedly become unemployed when you return to work.
