Skills-based job search
A typical job search service works by selecting a suitable job title and using it to search for job advertisements. In YTK Unemployment Fund’s skills-based job search service, you first collect keywords that describe your skills. We then match your skills and search for job advertisements that require similar skills.
This is an artificial intelligence system designed to find job advertisements that match your skills.
A beta version is currently in use, which we are using to collect user experiences in order to develop the service.
You decide
We aim to help you in your job search with our service. We help you find suitable skill words and then search for job ads that match them. You are free to choose your own keywords and decide which job advertisements you want to find out more about and which ones you want to apply for.
How the service works
Search results are generated based on the list of skills you have provided. Semantic artificial intelligence uses these skills to calculate how closely they match the skills required in job advertisements. The results show job advertisements where the required skills match your skills. In the beta phase, we have not set a lower limit for the level of calculated similarity that we show you. Therefore, it is part of how the service works that not all of the job ads shown may be suitable for you according to your own assessment. The aim is also to find job advertisements that will help you assess your career opportunities and the need for further or additional training.
The system does not store or learn from the data entered into it. In addition, the system is limited in such a way that it does not recognize words that could be considered discriminatory.
You can provide feedback directly in the service, but you can also provide feedback on the service through other YTK feedback and communication channels.
