Due to new legislative changes, official communications are becoming electronic.  The changes will mostly not affect your interactions with YTK Unemployment Fund. We will continue to use OmaYTK as the primary channel for communication. 

The purpose of the legislative changes is to promote the transition to digital public services. As a result of the changes, you will receive less paper mail from authorities. Messages will be transferred to Suomi.fi -service and other official service channels. When you receive less paper mail from authorities in the future, you must take greater care to ensure that you go and read messages from the authorities. The easiest way to do this is if you allow service channel notifications on your phone.  

At YTK Unemployment Fund we have previously sent decisions, hearings and notices to you electronically via OmaYTK. We will continue to do so going forward, if we have your email address or mobile phone number on file.  In addition, you may receive notifications about documents and messages that have arrived in OmaYTK to your email or to your mobile phone number. 

If you are comfortable communicating with us electronically, this change in the law does not require you to take any action on our part.

If you do not wish to receive messages electronically, please notify our customer service.

If you have previously indicated that you do not wish to receive electronic communications, we will continue to send you paper mail.
