You can continue to deduct the YTK Unemployment Fund membership fee in your taxation. Our membership fee will be €102 next year.
At the beginning of 2026, taxation will change so that trade union membership fees will no longer be tax-deductible. This change does not affect the YTK Unemployment Fund – the unemployment fund membership fee will remain tax-deductible.
Due to the change, membership fees for unemployment funds are no longer shown on the tax card, because the Tax Administration was unable to make a clear distinction between the fees of the funds and those of the labour market organisations. Find out more here.
If you are also a member of YTK Worklife, the membership fee for that will be €31 next year. The YTK Worklife membership fee has not been tax-deductible before, so nothing will change for you in that regard.
